Networks for nutritional autonomy
One of the major commitments made by Nutriset and set out in its mandate is to facilitate access to and the availability of products with a high nutritional value for populations at risk of malnutrition.
It is for this reason that, in 2005, Nutriset began creating and developing networks of local manufacturers located as close as possible to users.

The PlumpyField® network brings together food industry partners (companies or NGOs), which make and market Nutriset products in the Plumpy® range.
Today, PlumpyField® includes more than 10 members in developing countries, as well as a non-profit organization based in the United States.
The ZincField network launched in 2010 is based on the PlumpyField® model. It brings together pharmaceutical industry partners who share Nutriset’s values and are determined to combat diarrhoea in infants and young children through the local production of – and hence makes easier access to – ZinCfant®. ZinCfield already has 2 partners, one in Ethiopia and the other in Tanzania.
