Member of the network since 2005

Amwili SPRL was created in 2008 and has the advantage of the experience and the site of JONGEA, a former member of the PlumpyField network, from 2005 to 2008. In partnership with Nutriset, Amwili’s mission is to meet the nutritional needs of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

Its activity consists in manufacturing and distributing high nutritional value food products, in compliance with international standards for the manufacture of products of the Plumpy’nut® type. Amwili is based in Lubumbashi, the second biggest city in DRC, which is a prime site (logistics hub for a large number of NGOs) for the shipping of its products, particularly to the province of Kivu, where needs remain very significant.
