Global Health Council Conference: PlumpyField to Host Discussion on Fostering Innovation and Growth In Fight Against Childhood Malnutrition
- Washington, D.C., June 9, 2011. On the occasion of the 2011 Global Health Council Conference, the PlumpyField Network, producers of targeted nutritional solutions like Plumpy’nut®, will host a special discussion on the need for innovation and political action in the fight for child health and nutrition. Leaders and entrepreneurs from the PlumpyField Network will discuss how they work to ensure these nutritional products reach the children who need them most. Meds & Food for Kids joins PlumpyField Network to expand production of life-saving food supplements in Haiti
- December 15, 2010 - Meds & Food for Kids (MFK), a non-profit based in St. Louis, Mo., and Cap Haitian, Haiti, has joined the PlumpyField Network, an international network founded by Nutriset that support ready-to-use food (RUF) producers based in the countries where the need for life-saving nutritional products is greatest. Through the partnership, MFK will be better positioned to supply the increasing needs in Haiti for high-quality RUFs.

Nutriset / Proparco (AFD Group) - A partnership to expand the PlumpyField network
- Octobre 15, 2010 - On the occasion of World Food Day, Proparco, a subsidiary of the French Development Agency (AFD) and Nutriset, a company dedicated to the fight against malnutrition, sign a funding convention and partnership agreement for the geographic extension of the local production of Plumpy’nut type food, products which have revolutionised the prevention and treatment of the different forms of infantile malnutrition in developing countries. Objective: facilitate access to these products for the most vulnerable populations by strengthening local agro-industry stakeholders’ role.
