LP Rodael, a partnership for pharmaceutical production

ZinCfant^® tablets for the treatment of acute diarrhoea are produced by LP Rodael, Nutriset’s pharmaceutical partner, which has been awarded "Good Manufacturing Practices” certification by Afssaps (the French drug authority).
Nutriset and LP Rodael are listed by UNICEF as one of its preferred suppliers of zinc sulphate tablets on a global level.

In 2009, Nutriset launched the ZincField network for the production of ZinCfant^® directly in developing countries, with the first two partners located in Tanzania and Ethiopia.

Thanks to the manufacturing process and careful selection of the raw materials, ZinCfant^® dispersible zinc sulphate tablets are the only ones to mask the taste of zinc so effectively. This property is essential in terms of ensuring the treatment is taken properly and guaranteeing its efficacy, bearing in mind that zinc was used as an emetic up until the start of the 20^th century.

Laboratoires Pharmaceutiques Rodael has a production capacity of 50 million tablets per month.
To meet the regulatory requirements of user countries and meet specific demand from humanitarian programmes, Nutriset can adapt the packaging of its tablets (graphics, leaflet, languages used, etc.).
