SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: ACTIVE COMMITMENTS

Through our business activities,  we contribute directly to 10 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations for 2030. More broadly, improving nutrition can act as a catalyst for achieving all the SDGs.

As a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, Nutriset is committed to implementing, within its territory and all along its value chain, actions with a positive and sustainable impact in favour of human rights, international labour standards, environmental protection and the fight against corruption.

Fighting malnutrition also means
fighting global warming

Climate change is a major factor in food insecurity, and is responsible, among other things, for the decline in agricultural yields and the quality of harvests. That’s why we are committed to reducing the impact of our business activities  on the environment.

Since 2011, we have been working to implement concrete solutions to reduce our environmental impact in a number of areas: pollution prevention and waste reduction, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, sustainable use of resources, protection of the environment and biodiversity.

More recently, we are developing an ambitious climate strategy to halve our greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and contribute to global carbon neutrality by 2050. This strategy focuses on 2 areas: decarbonising our business and adapting to a changing world and a low-carbon future.
