November 2017 marks the first attendance of Nutrivita Foods as an exhibitor at the World Food India (WFI) organized by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries of India and the Confederation of Indian Industry in New Delhi. Nutrivita Foods manufactures product brands developed by Nutriset, like Plumpy’Nut®, and leans on the contribution of Nutriset Group in the fight against malnutrition, building on over 30 years of active participation in scientific research projects and its capacity to develop nutritional solutions for vulnerable populations that support the scaling up of prevention or treatment programmes.
The manufacturing capacity of Nutrivita Foods has grown over the years, matching international quality standards, controls and best practices. The company's operations are aligned with the Codex Alimentarius and ISO 22000 norms. Its quality assurance follows the HACCP approach (Hazard Analysis Control of Critical Points).
Attentive to local traditions and habits, Nutrivita Foods also plans to offer innovative solutions designed to meet the specific needs of targeted population groups such as children enrolled in school feeding programmes or pregnant and lactating women during their pre and post-natal care.
