Nutriset is pleased to announce the opening of a storage hub for its nutritional products, in partnership with Techno Relief Group, based in Nairobi, Kenya.
This service is intended to cover the needs of regional humanitarian programs in Tanzania, South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Somalia.
The immediate availability of essential products, such as therapeutic milks or ready-to-use foods, strengthens the capacity of institutional, humanitarian or social stakeholders, responsible to manage severe acute malnutrition in vulnerable populations.
As an Official Distributor of Nutriset Distribution Network, Techno Relief Group, operates the Global Stocking hub in Nairobi, where the following products are now available: therapeutic milks F-75 and F-100, Plumpy'Nut® (RUTF) and Plumpy'SupTM (RUSF).
For 30 years, Techno Relief Group has been providing expertise in response to the relief and development needs of local aid agencies and government organizations. The company offers a diverse range of products to its humanitarian customers and manages many storage facilities worldwide.
This partnership between Nutriset and Techno Relief Group is part of the humanitarian context in the Horn of Africa and the Great Lakes region, compounded by conflicts and natural disasters, where hundreds of thousands of children under five years old are affected by acute malnutrition.
With the positioning of its first Global Stocking hub in Kenya, Nutriset further advances its Distribution Network, active in each country, and organized around pre-positioned stock of nutritional products with a local representation.
By signing a common ethical charter, Nutriset and Techno Relief Group align their objectives, share common values, and commit to a collaborative relationship to build a fair and sustainable model.
